{CLOSED} A little bizness to share: Win a 1 year supply of BIZ stainfighter!

Disclosure: After my feedsack post where I talked about BIZ, I contacted the company to see if I could get some samples for you guys.  They graciously agreed to host a giveaway.  The opinions expressed are all mine and I have not been personally compensated for this post.  I've used this product for years and it has come through for me every time.

Many years ago, before children, I ended up in an odd conversation with a woman I'd gone to church with for years.  I mentioned a stain on some clothing and she started talking about all her favorite home remedies for stain removal.  She said "I get a big satisfaction out of getting things clean."  It seemed really weird to a single gal but fast forward to children & my love of quilting and guess what...I'm "that lady."  I have removed every imaginable stain from fabrics from potty accidents, formula, blood, grass, dirt, and permanent marker.  Well when a regular wash doesn't cut it, I break out the secret weapon:

I've waxed on before about using BIZ for laundry.  What all do I use it for???
Baseball grass & dirt: check!
Bloody nose: check!
Antique feedsacks: check!
Vintage quilts: check!
Set-in baby formula stains: check!
Smooshed in baby food: check!
Sour smell from leaving the clothes in the washer too long:  check!
Potty accidents: CHECK CHECK!

I even noticed that if I got that monthly "clean your washer" warning light on my front loader, I could do a load with BIZ and the warning light would go off.  The cleaning tablets are a few dollars each...much more expensive than 1/2 cup of BIZ.

You can use the liquid to pour directly onto a bad stain or use the powder to make a paste.  Unless it is a very terrifying stain, I just throw it in the entire washload.  I've never had a problem yet.

Anything that is "natural" (food, body fluids&tissue, dirt/grass) is something you can try BIZ on.  It has a bunch of little enzymes which are activated when you put them in a warm wash or soak.  They gobble up the stains.  That's my scientific explanation.  It's like having those enzyme cleaners you buy for your pets (the expensive ones) in concentrate for your wash.

So now that I've worked you up into a stainfighting frenzy, guess what...5 lucky readers of the Tulip Patch will get a 1 year supply of BIZ.  I am so jealous right now, y'all.  For your chance to win, leave a comment on this post telling me about the worst stain ever.  Bonus chance for followers of The Tulip Patch..just leave an extra comment.   The giveaway is open to US residents.  Winners will be drawn in a week.

If you aren't one of the lucky 5, you still get a little something.  Right now, Biz is offering a $2 coupon on their website

  2. hhmmm My middle daughter has physical disablilities and did not walk till she was two and a hlaf. instead she would 'scoot' around on her bottom using one leg to pull herself! This was a terror on her pants!! I remember being at the park for a birthday and she wanted to be with the Grannys (who were about 30 feet away) and she scooted in the grass from the picnic area all the way down to the Grannys! in pastel pants!!! Oh, she wore through pants like no other kid!!! (and food... always finds a way onto her clothes even at 11!!)

  3. I am a new mother so the worst stain ever happens about every other day on the baby's beautiful clothes. Actually, when I was a teenager my mom made me a beautiful quilt for my bed and I left a pen open on it one night. It made the worst circle of dark ink in the middle of the quilt. We could have used some BIZ for that one!

  4. I have used Tide for years because I tried everything on the market and nothing could beat it. Maybe it's time for me to test again because Biz sounds like a wonder and I could use the price break! thanks!

  5. I think the worst stains I have encountered have been with the few pieces of antique textiles that I have been lucky enough to claim. Hand made baby dresses in particular.

  7. I think my three worst stains all involved the same issue, just with my three different daughters: that stage when they realize they can do something about their soiled diaper discomfort during nap time. I'm totally not above duct-taping my kids into their diapers.

  9. I can't really remember a "worst stain ever," but I do remember all those soccer and baseball/softball uniforms that I have had to clean over the years. Even though laundry is my LEAST favorite chore, I would sure love a year's supply of some BIZ :)

  10. I think the worst stains I ever dealt with were those from my kids sports activities. Between soccer and baseball, getting out a mixture of ground in dirt, grass stains and sweat was a real challenge.

  11. Worst stain ever: mashed up bananas for the babies. I swear they just turn grayer and grayer every time I try to wash them and I've tried EVERYTHING to get it out... except Biz! Hope I win! christina12358 at gmail dot com

  15. What a great giveaway .. I mean, who doesn't do laundry?? Anyway, my worst stain ... well I don't know about worst, but I always have a stain on all my shirts where I drop food - usually salad dressing or something oily. so I've got all these great shirts with nasty oil stains on them. My daughter has left me a sweatshirt with a huge stain down the front that she wants me to fix and get back to her. Even if I don't win, I will have to get some Biz and see if it works.

oh and I remember formula stains on baby clothes were pretty bad ..

  16. Thanks for the chance to win. I have some old quilts that have been stained through use (I think oils from hands). I would love to try your BIZ remedy on these stains. I have quite a few old quilts with questionable stains. I haven't done anything to them because I don't want to make an irreversible error with quilts that I hold dear. Thanks for the giveaway.

  17. I did not follow directions very well, I just got too excited about entering... I didn't tell about my worst stain ever which is a a spot on the color of one of my white shirts. I thought it was from colors bleeding. I have never gotten that out... I thought about dying the shirt... ok, I know that does not count as another post,, but, I AM A FOLLOWER>>>> that counts as a second time in the pot.... woohoo!!!!

  18. I can't remember the worst stain ever. Unfortunately, I have had too many to be able to differentiate the worst stain. Needless to say, I could really use the year's supply.

  19. I've tackled rust, blood, grass stains, red ink pen and won, but, spaghetti sauce is a killer. I just can't get that stuff out. My hubby loves to spill red sauces on his clothes. I'd love to win the Biz.

  25. Awesome giveaway! I've never tried Biz but will have to print their coupon and try some. The worst stain I had to deal with was when some soy sauce leaked onto my quilt top. It sat that way for a few months before I found. I had to soak it in vinegar to get the stain out and it smelled so bad!! Normally with stained clothes I give it to my mom to "mom-wash" it. But now I'm getting older and soon I'll be a mom, so I should learn how to mom-wash my own things :)

  26. I am BIZ fan already, I would love a years supply! I first found out how wonderful it is when I pulled out some baby clothes that had been packed away and discovered formula stains that were a couple years old - I soaked them over night in BIZ and they were like new again! Great stuff!

  27. To me the worst stain I had was a blood stain from my dog getting her nail clipped that got on my quilt and I didn't notice it for 6 months and I couldn't get it out. I hope I can try it.

  28. This may sound really stupid but I didn't realize Biz was still on the market! Shows my tunnel vision. My mom always used Biz. Great ideas.

  29. The worst stain -- grass stains on baseball uniforms. Winning a years supply of laundry soap -- way cool.

  30. The worst stain ever was red wine on a white silk blouse. I had to soak it for 24 hours and then treat it two more times before the wine came out.

  31. Yeah, I can finally post to this page!! My hubby leaves pens in his pockets and the stupid things burst or leak leaving ink all over the place. I'll be trying some biz on the next one. I really should buy him some nerdy pocket protectors.

  32. The worst stains ever that I can remember...when I was in nursing school, we had to wear all white nursing uniforms for our clinicals. White top, pants, socks, shoes and hat. Yeah, so old school now, lol. Anyway, I had put my three uniforms, socks and all into the washer, then smack into the dryer the day before clinicals. Well, when I took them out of the dryer I had a mini heart attack...I had left my lipstick in my pocket and my uniforms had lipstick all over them!!! I remember soaking them for like two days and doing a lot of praying, lol!

  37. Great giveaway! I don't really have a "worse stain ever" story, but I do have a few items in my closet right now that have suffered from fabric bleeding. I would like to give Biz a try on these items. Thanks for the chance to win!

  40. I am a follower of your site and that is how I found out about this great giveaway. I didn't realize I could still find Biz. It really is a great product and I would love to experience a win!!! Anyhow... I work for the post office as a temporary person and we get hand me down uniforms. I'm gonna tell you mail is dirty!! My uniforms are dirty every day and being hand me downs, I have to try and get these stains out on a daily basis as they continue to get worse. Now... I will tell you that as I was spraying a "stain fighter" on these stains, I quickly found out that my mother had placed a "bleach mixture" in the stain fighter container. Needless to say, there was no getting out that "stain" that suddenly became white :). (We moved that unmarked container into her bathroom where it belonged to clean the tubs!!)

  42. I don't have a worst stain ever but I'm notorious for getting grease spots on my shirts when cooking or eating. That's why I don't wear light color clothes especially anything with white on it. :)
